Sam Fenton

High Performance Manager

Sam has been involved with sport in Gippsland for close to 20 years. In that time he has been committed and in charge of many Strength and Conditioning/ Performance programs.

Through his prior experience, he has developed structured and detailed programs that address those problems around lack of services surrounding pursuing High-Performance.

Sam qualifications are :

  • Master of High Performance Sport
  • Strength and Conditioning Coach Level 2
  • Level 1 Anthropometrist (ISAAK)
  • Studying PhD (Biomechanics and Aquatics)

Trent Morrow

Marketing and Strength & Conditioning Coach

Trent has completed a Bachelor of Business Commerce and is currently completing his Masters of High Performance Sport at UTS (University of Technology Sydney)

Trent is also a previous National level swimmer and utilises his experience to assist athletes in being able to be the best version of themselves and the importance and need for a bright and structured performance pathway for grass-root athletes.

Trent’s qualifications are :

  • Bachelor of Business Commerce (Major in Management, Minor in Marketing)
  • Strength and Conditioning Coach Level 1
  • Master of High Performance Sport (In Progress)

Jye Thompson

Product & Equipment Development Manager

Jye has completed a degree in Sports Engineering, developing methods to integrate Mechanical and electrical engineering practices directly into Sport.

Jye currently works in Melbourne for a large Engineering company as a Project Engineer. However, has an extreme passion for sports innovation and product development.

Jye was a National Level swimmer. Has also competed in many Cycling races and events both MTB and Road since finishing his swimming career.

Through his Elite sporting career and profession, Jye has decided to combine his two interests in designing quality products for Control Athletes and the wider Community.

Jye qualifications are :

  • Bachelor of Engineering – Sports Engineering

Advisory Board

Brian Ford

Business and People Management

Brian has 35 years of corporate experience working for one of Australia’s leading credit specialist and investment firms, La Trobe Financial. In 2017 he and his wife Michelle opened their own swim school, the Ford Swim Centre on site at the Traralgon campus of St Paul’s Anglican Grammar campus.

Brian’s impact in the world of swimming has been substantial, coaching the Traralgon Swimming Club with many of its swimmers having international, national and state success. On a regional level, the Club has won 19 Victorian Country titles in the past 20 years.

We are lucky to have Brian as part of our advisory board, in the role of Business, People and Athlete management.

John Quinn

High Performance AFL and Athlete Pathways/ Programs

John has had over 30 years of experience with Elite level athletes in many different sports. He has coached National, International and Olympic level Athletics and been High-Performance Director at AFL clubs Essendon and Greater Western Sydney.

John is now running Quinn Elite Sports both in Melbourne and Sydney. We are honoured to have John as apart of our advisory board in the role of High-Performance AFL and Athlete Pathways/ Programs.

Ashley Delaney

High Performance Pathways Swimming

Ash’s sporting resume speaks for itself being a National record holder with also being a World, Commonwealth and Olympic medalist.

Currently the Head Coach at Northcote Swimming Club. Ash brings an array of knowledge, and that’s why we are happy to have Ash as an adviser in our High-Performance Pathways in Swimming.

Andrew Cameron

Physio based exercise system

Andrew Cameron is a highly regarded physiotherapist who has been apart of many representative teams such as the Australian Dolphins Swim Team and Australian Men’s Netball Team.

Andrew is passionate about working with Elite level athletes due to him previously being a National and International level swimmer.

We are proud to have Andrew as one of our advisers and is in charge of our Physio based exercise systems.
