Sam Fenton

Director

Sam has been involved with sport in Gippsland for close to 20 years. In that time he has been committed and in charge of many Strength and Conditioning/ Performance programs.

Through his prior experience, he has developed structured and detailed programs that address those problems around lack of services surrounding pursuing High-Performance.

Sam qualifications are:
▶ Master of High Performance Sport
▶ ASCA Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach
▶ Level 1 Anthropometrist (ISAAK)
▶ Studying PhD (Biomechanics and Aquatics)

Stuart Goddard

Director and High Performance Manager

Stu first completed a Bachelor of Sport Management at Federation University, which immediately led to a four year career at AFL Gippsland as a League Operations Coordinator before joining the team at Control High Performance. He has also just completed his Master of High Performance Sport at ACU which has further developed his knowledge of athlete development and high-performance practice. He now trains some of our highest-level athletes across a range of sports.

Stu has spread his personal time across a number of sports, now focusing his time on football, where he spent 12 years at Traralgon FNC before recently moving to Traralgon Tyers United FNC to take on a playing-assistant coach role. Stu’s time both as a participant and a coordinator of community sport has given him a unique understanding of what is required from an athletic development point of view, to ensure our athletes at any level, can enjoy a successful sporting career.

Stu’s qualifications are :

Jordan McMillan

Director of Allied Health

Jordan completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast. Jordan moved back to the Valley in 2019 where he started working with LCHS and CHP as an Exercise Physiologist, all while he continued his studies completing a Grad Cert in High Performance Sport and a Master of Business Administration. A hard working individual who is passionate about growing High Performance Sport in Gippsland, he has been developing his role within the business, becoming Director our Allied health brand Control High Performance Health. Jordan specialises in injury prevention and rehabilitation along with exercise for chronic diseases, which include Parkinson’s Disease, Diabetes and Cancer. You will find Jordan in the gym most nights after work perfecting his craft and trialing new exercises, exercise programs and training modalities. He has also played football and cricket over many years building his interest in injury management through his own challenges of overcoming major injuries including a ruptured ACL and shoulder reconstructions, to name a few. This has given Jordan a unique understanding of working through rehabilitation from and athlete and practitioners point of view.

Alisha Molesworth

Director of Womens Sport and High Performance Coach

Alisha completed her level 1 accreditation with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association in May of 2024.

Alisha’s qualifications are :

Ben Cheetham

High-Performance Coach

Ben completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science majoring in Strength and Conditioning & Exercise Physiology at Deakin University in 2021. Ben then moved back to Traralgon where he began studying a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Federation University in Churchill in 2022.

Through his studies Ben has had the opportunity to work as a high-performance coach for the Mazenod Football Club in the VAFA, as well as work with RISE High Performance where he worked predominately with junior netball athletes.

Ben has plenty of sporting experience himself most recently playing football and golf, with previous experiences in tennis and soccer as a junior. It was through playing sports and sustaining injuries of his own that Ben developed a passion for rehab and strength and conditioning. His experience as an athlete allows for an understanding of an athletes point of view as well as an allied health professionals.

Kody Tibballs

High-Performance Coach

Kody completed his level 1 accreditation with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association in December of 2023. Since then Kody has developed his coaching craft both privately with clients on the gym floor, as well as out with our numerous sporting programs, conducting testing and high performance sessions.

Kody has a high level sporting background, particularly in the basketball world. He is currently an integral part of the Gippsland United Mens Program having been a winner of the youth player of the year award and finalist for defensive player of the year in division one Big V basketball. Kody’s passion for high performance is driven by his own pursuit for high performance on the basketball court, having been a product of our high performance programs for the last 5 years, overcoming numerous injury set backs along the way. Kody plans to continue his education in the high performance sport/sport science field in the coming years.
